Glamping or camping?
Thank you for checking out our camping / glamping food ideas! We are classified as “glampers” more than regular campers since we have electricity, running hot water, and beds above the ground. So keep that in mind when you see food items such as popsicles! We have a fridge and freezer to help us keep our food at safe temperatures. All of the ideas are peanut and milk free in order to keep Sosi safe.
I will continue to add to this section as the summer continues on. We are so happy the warmer weather is finally here! Also, click the picture below for a quick link to our social media accounts.
It should be noted that I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Thank you so much for reading, I hope your kidlet(s) enjoy these products as much as we do.
Freezer Friendly Muffins
For the muffins I bake a double batch and make sure to freeze half for camping or playdate trips. It is important to make sure the muffins are 100% cool before freezing them in order to avoid freezer burn. These delicious chocolate chip muffins can be eaten right from the freezer or popped in the micro for a few seconds to warm up. Just be careful they aren’t too hot when you serve them. My little ones also really like it when I chop these bad boys in half and smother them in almond butter and jam, “muffin sandwiches” are a real toddler crowd pleaser.
These little popsicles are perfect for toddler hands and fit nicely into a smaller camping freezer. If you click on the picture you will find our “Mango” popsicle recipe, super easy and tastes delicious on a hot summer day. Scroll a little further and you will see the 3 ingredients needed for, “Strawberry Banana Popsicles”…
