There easy sweet potato fries are fast to make and taste delicious!

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes (yams also work)
  • 2 TBSP Club House 'tex mex' seasoning
  • 1 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 1/2 TSP Salt and pepper (to taste)
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Cut your sweet potatoes into bite size bits, or slice them into fry style pieces. Your cooking time will vary depending on how thick you slice'm.

  3. Grease the pan with half of the olive oil. I prefer to use glass baking pans, the edges tend to crisp up more evenly and I like to avoid using products with non-stick applications.

  4. Place the sliced sweet potatoes into the pan. Evenly spread the spices on top, coating evenly.  Add the rest of the olive oil and give it one more good stir. (The seasoning is good but it's not fun to get a fry coated with spice).

  5. Bake for 20 minutes. Flip the fries. Return to over for another 20 minutes. The fries should be done at this time but as we know all ovens are different so keep watch. If they are crispy on the outside you are good to go.

Recipe Notes

Serve with your favourite tangy mayonnaise dip. A quick dip I like to make includes mayonnaise, maple syrup, and Cholula hot sauce.
